It's hard to plan for freezing temperatures in the summer months...but we all know what's coming. We have an abundance of split firewood available to be delivered to your home. We have seasoned firewood and kiln dried. All are cut to length to fit into standard fireplaces, outdoor fire pits or pizza ovens.
Hey there, neighbor — Ryan here.
If you live anywhere along the Shoreline — from the backroads of North Guilford to Branford Point to Madison’s cozy cottages near East Wharf — you already know that a Connecticut winter isn’t for the faint of heart. When that icy wind comes rolling off Long Island Sound and the snow piles up on Route 1, there’s nothing better than the crackle of a real wood fire.
That’s where we come in.
At RC Property Services LLC, we provide premium, seasoned firewood delivery and stacking services throughout Guilford, Branford, and Madison, CT. No gimmicks, no mystery wood — just good, honest hardwood that burns hot, clean, and long. We’re a small, local operation (no big box bundles here), and every log we deliver is cut, seasoned, and split by our own crew.
So whether you’re heating your home, feeding an outdoor pizza oven, or just looking to keep the backyard firepit roaring till midnight, we’ve got your woodpile covered.
Good Firewood Matters (And Here’s Why)
Not all firewood is created equal. You’ve probably seen those half-green logs some guy on Facebook Marketplace swore were “seasoned.” You light them up and… smoke, sputter, and disappointment.
Our wood is different. We hand-select quality hardwoods — oak, maple, hickory, ash, and birch — cut to standard length, split evenly, and air-seasoned for at least 12 to 18 months. That means low moisture content, easy ignition, and consistent heat.
In short: less smoke, less mess, more heat, and longer burn times.
We sell by the cord, half-cord, or custom load, and we can deliver anywhere along the Shoreline. If you’re not sure how much you need, I’ll help you figure it out — no upsells, no nonsense.

When it's hot and humid we are busy cutting and splitting wood so you can be warm and dry this winter. We have excellent wood that is cut to standard length that's perfect for fireplaces, fire pits and pizza ovens. We offer seasoned firewood and our premium kiln dried firewood. Both are perfect for creating long lasting fires that will warm your home and your heart.
Here’s how it works:
You call. We schedule. We deliver.
It’s that simple.
We’ll bring your firewood directly to your driveway, backyard, or woodshed — wherever you need it. Our delivery trucks are compact enough to maneuver tight neighborhoods like Stony Creek or Guilford Green, and our crew takes care not to tear up your lawn or driveway.
Want it neatly stacked? No problem. We’ll stack it the right way — tight, stable, and with air gaps for proper ventilation. (We’ve seen some of the “leaning towers of firewood” people make — and trust me, you don’t want that collapsing mid-January.)
We supply firewood not just for homeowners, but also for restaurants, cafés, and inns throughout the area that rely on quality wood for wood-fired ovens, outdoor pits, and fireplaces.
If you’re running a place like a Madison beach café with an outdoor pit or a Branford pizzeria that needs steady heat, we’ll set you up with consistent deliveries on a schedule that fits your needs.
We also provide bulk seasonal deliveries for condo associations, small inns, and Airbnbs that want to stock up for the cold months.
We’re proud to say that our firewood is locally sourced from trees right here in the shoreline communities. Many come from land clearing, storm cleanup, and routine removals that would otherwise go to waste.
Instead, we repurpose that wood into clean, usable firewood — seasoned naturally and stored on racks off the ground to ensure proper drying. It’s the sustainable, local way to heat your home while supporting a small business right down the road.
We don’t import, we don’t mix species, and we don’t deliver green wood. What you order is what you get — period.
We deliver throughout:
If you’re anywhere along Route 1, Route 146, or Durham Road, we’re probably already in your area this week.
1. What kind of wood do you deliver?
Primarily oak, maple, ash, hickory, and birch — seasoned hardwoods that burn clean and hot.
2. Do you sell full cords?
Yes — full cords, half cords, and custom loads. A full cord measures 4x4x8 feet (128 cubic feet).
3. Is your wood seasoned?
Absolutely. Every log is air-seasoned for 12–18 months, ensuring low moisture and high efficiency.
4. Do you deliver year-round?
Yes. We deliver firewood all year — though demand spikes in the fall and winter, so book early to secure your spot.
5. Can you stack the wood for me?
Yes — we’ll stack it neatly wherever you want it. We even bring tarps if the weather’s acting up.
6. What’s the difference between hardwood and softwood?
Hardwoods (like oak, ash, maple) burn longer, hotter, and cleaner — perfect for heating. Softwoods (like pine) burn fast and smoky — good for kindling, not heating.
7. Can you deliver to commercial properties or restaurants?
Absolutely. We supply several local businesses that use wood for pizza ovens, fireplaces, and outdoor seating areas.
8. How do I store my firewood?
Keep it off the ground, covered on top (not the sides), and stacked with airflow. We’ll even show you how when we deliver.
Because we’re local — and we actually care.
We’re not some random delivery service from three towns over. We live here, we work here, and we warm our homes with the same wood we sell.
We believe in honesty, quality, and reliability. You’ll get your firewood on time, neatly stacked, and ready to burn. No filler, no green logs, no excuses.
We’ve been serving families and businesses from Guilford Green to Branford Harbor to Madison Surf Club for years — and we’d be honored to serve you too.
If your woodpile’s running low or you’re tired of smoky, damp logs that barely burn, give us a call at (203) 314-1667.
We’ll get you set up with a clean, seasoned load of hardwood that’ll keep your home warm and your nights cozy — whether you’re sitting by the fire, roasting marshmallows, or heating up that pizza oven.
Stay warm, stay local,
